Two-handed control, no floor required

The Beastie Bar is two Beastie balls mounted on a rigid fibreglass shaft. They are fixed in place but spin freely, so the texture rolls across tissue instead of dragging over it.

Because you drive it with both hands, you control the pressure directly rather than by shifting body weight. That makes it the practical choice for the places body weight cannot reach comfortably — calves, forearms, shins, quads — and for working on someone else.

Specifications

15" end to end, with 3" Beastie balls. Add the stands and the bar becomes a floor tool: set it down, lie back on it, and let your body weight do the work hands-free.

Which firmness?

The Original is firm but still gives. The Xtra Firm is considerably harder, closer to a lacrosse ball. With a hand-held bar you are applying much less force than you would lying on a roller, so the Xtra Firm suits more people here than it does elsewhere in the range.
